South Arkansas’ largest zoo, The Crossland Zoo is open daily, year round. Located in the 110 acre city park the Zoo is home to several animals native to the area including deer, raccoons, coyotes, owls and ducks. There are also bears, peacocks, alligators, pot belly pigs and long horn steer. The Petting Zoo is home to the new spring babies. Fishing can be enjoyed in the 51 acre pond and there is a 2.8 mile concrete path that winds through the area. Swings, slides and picnic tables make a day of family fun.

See a slice of early sawmill life, reflected in the three-room ‘shotgun’ company house built prior to 1910 and restored in 1985. The “company houses” of this period were all built identically, right down to the shade of paint, which came to be know as Crossett Gray.

Explore the adventure of the scenic Ouachita and Saline Rivers and the natural beauty of camping at the Crossett Harbor RV Park. Fishing, hunting and the bird watching paradise are common every day enjoyment at the 65,000 acre Felsenthal National Wildlife Refuge. Native animals are displayed in a bottomland hardwood scene at the Visitors Center.
